New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell retains top spot among ODI batters; Rashid Khan remains No. 1 ODI bowler


The International Cricket Council has released its latest Test and ODI player rankings, with England’s Harry Brook achieving a major milestone by climbing to the No. 1 position among Test batters.


According to the latest ICC rankings, Harry Brook overtook fellow England batter Joe Root to claim the top spot in the Test batting rankings. Joe Root dropped two places to third, while Australia’s Travis Head moved up one position to second.


Among Pakistani players, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam both gained one place. Rizwan is now ranked 20th, while Babar Azam sits in 21st position in the Test batting rankings.


India’s Jasprit Bumrah remains the No. 1 Test bowler, while Pakistan spinner Noman Ali climbed one place to sixth. In the Test all-rounders rankings, India’s Ravindra Jadeja retained the top position.


ICC ODI Rankings


In the ODI bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to hold the No. 1 spot. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed moved up two places to second, while Shaheen Shah Afridi climbed four places to ninth.


In the ODI batting rankings, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell remains No. 1, followed by India’s Virat Kohli in second place. Pakistan’s Babar Azam retained his sixth position in the ODI batting rankings.
