The starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro is $1,199, while the Pro Max starts at $1,299
Apple has introduced the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its “Surprise and Shine” event. This time, the prices have been kept somewhat higher than last year, however, a clear change has been made in battery performance.
Prices
The starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro is $1,199, while the Pro Max starts at $1,299 (both come with 256GB of base storage). This is $100 more than last year’s iPhone 17 Pro ($1,099) and Pro Max ($1,199). For the first time, a 2TB storage option has also been included in both models. Pre-orders will start from September 12 and the phones will be available from September 18.
Battery and Charging
Apple Vice President of Hardware Engineering Rich Dinh said that the iPhone 18 Pro can be charged to 50% in 15 minutes and can provide approximately six hours of video playback with just five minutes of charging. Despite its smaller size, the iPhone 18 Pro has the same battery life as the previous iPhone 17 Pro Max.
According to Apple, with normal use, the 18 Pro can last approximately 24 hours, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max can last approximately 30 hours. In video playback, the Pro model can last approximately 36 hours, while the Pro Max reaches a record 45 hours.
Key Features (iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max)
The new A20 Pro (2-nanometer process) chip has been used in it, which provides better performance and thermal management.
It has a 48-megapixel main Fusion camera with variable aperture, which is the biggest camera upgrade in years.
This mobile phone will be available in Black, Silver, Glacier and the new Burgundy color.
