Pakistani supermodel and actress Jiya Ali has broken her silence on an old scandal that emerged during the early days of her career.
The actress was accused of having an alleged relationship with the husband of renowned beautician, businesswoman and social activist Musarrat Misbah.
Jiya Ali began her career at Musarrat Misbah’s salon when she was only 18 years old. She was later dismissed from her job at the salon, after which her name was linked with Musarrat Misbah’s husband, Aamir.
The matter became more serious when Musarrat Misbah and Aamir’s marriage ended.
Speaking in a podcast, Jiya Ali said that Musarrat Misbah had also tried to stop her from certain matters because of problems in her married life. She said that she was extremely young at the time and therefore was not in a position to fully understand the issues and the situation.
Jiya Ali said that later, when the couple got divorced, she was a young model, so her name was linked with Musarrat Misbah’s husband and a scandal was created.
She said that because of the controversy, restrictions were also imposed on her working at certain places. However, she later achieved success in the fields of modeling and acting.
Jia Ali is a supermodel of the 90s and early 2000s. She has been a part of the fashion industry for ages now and she also had a stellar acting career. She has faced a huge scandal in her career in the very beginning, and it still follows her to this day.
