Pakistan Under-19 defeated the England Under-19 team by 177 runs in the first One-Day International.
Pakistan’s Under-19 team batted first and scored 332 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted overs. Usman Khan scored 151 runs, while captain Farhan Yousuf played an innings of 115 runs.
Farhan Yousuf and Usman Khan put together a record 268-run partnership for the third wicket.
England were bowled out for 155 runs while chasing the target, giving Pakistan a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.
In the match, Pakistan Under-19’s Muhammad Siam took four wickets for 39 runs.
Pakistani Bowler Razaullah Dismisses England Captain in First Over of Debut Match
Pakistan fast bowler Razaullah made an impressive start to his Test debut against England in the Birmingham Test, dismissing England captain Joe Root LBW in the very first over.
According to private TV channel Express News, 21-year-old Razaullah claimed the important wicket in his very first over while bowling at a speed of around 90 miles per hour.
Earlier, Pakistan were bowled out for just 133 runs in their first innings, with Saud Shakeel emerging as the top scorer with 43 runs.
For England, Josh Tongue took four wickets, while Ollie Robinson and Jofra Archer claimed three wickets each.
