Web Desk: Police in Rawalakot came under attack from what authorities described as “miscreant elements” on Wednesday, with armed assailants firing on security personnel from positions inside and atop multiple buildings, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khawar Ali Shaukat said.
He added that police were responding to the attacks and vowed that authorities would show “no leniency” toward those involved. The official did not immediately provide details on casualties, arrests, or the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further information was not immediately available.
