In view of the security situation in Swat, the Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police organised a joint patrol and flag march aimed at further strengthening the public’s sense of security and promoting trust between security institutions and citizens.
A large number of Pakistan Army personnel, KP Police officials, local residents and children participated in the flag march. Citizens of Swat carried the national flag to express complete solidarity with the Pakistan Army and the police and reaffirmed their commitment to peace and security.
Participants also chanted slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad,” reflecting national spirit and public support for the country’s security institutions.
Patrol on major roads
During the joint patrol, convoys of security vehicles and motorcycles patrolled the main roads of Swat city. On the occasion, security personnel reviewed the situation in the area and reaffirmed their commitment to providing a safe environment for the public.
Message of peace
The flag march was also intended to send a clear message to anti-state elements that the public, the Pakistan Army and the police are united and are working together to maintain peace and stability.
Unity guarantees peace
Participants said that strong coordination between the public and security institutions is the foundation of lasting peace. They added that this unity and harmony demonstrate that the people of Swat stand alongside the Pakistan Army and the police in facing every challenge.
