Web desk: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the full itinerary for South Africa’s tour of Pakistan later this year, featuring two Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and three Twenty20 Internationals.
The series will also mark the beginning of Pakistan’s ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 campaign, with the opening Test set to begin on October 12 in Lahore.
The first Test will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium from October 12 to 16. It will be the first five-day game at the ground since its major renovation ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The second Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24, the same venue where Pakistan sealed a 2-0 victory over South Africa in their last Test series back in 2021.
After the Test matches, the two sides will turn to white-ball cricket. The T20I series will begin on October 28 in Rawalpindi, before moving to Lahore for the final two matches on October 31 and November 1.
