BISP Benazir Nashonuma Programme 2025: full guide for women and children

Web desk: The government has released full details regarding the eligibility criteria, registration process, and benefits under the Benazir Nashonuma Programme, launched as part of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for the programme, women must already be registered under the BISP Kafalat Programme.

The scheme is designed specifically for:

  • Pregnant women
  • Lactating mothers
  • Children under the age of two years (up to 23 months)

Registration process

Eligible women can enrol in the programme by visiting Nashonuma Centres, which are set up at the tehsil and district levels across the country.

Registration will only be completed if all conditions are met.

Required documents

Applicants are required to bring the following documents at the time of registration:

  • Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) issued by NADRA
  • Child’s B-Form issued by NADRA
  • Child’s immunisation card

Programme benefits

The Benazir Nashonuma Programme offers financial and nutritional support for women and children.

  • Pregnant women will receive PKR 2,500 every quarter during pregnancy.
  • After childbirth, mothers will continue to receive quarterly payments of PKR 2,500 for a son and PKR 3,000 for a daughter, which also includes PKR 500 as travel expenses. This support continues until the child reaches two years of age.
  • In addition to cash support, mothers and children under two years will receive nutritious food to ensure healthy growth and development.

This financial assistance will be provided in addition to the regular payments received under the BISP Kafalat Programme.
