Web desk: Pakistan is celebrating Air Force Day today with great national spirit to honour the courage and sacrifices of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

PM Shehbaz pays tribute on Pakistan Air Force Day

In his message on the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to the bravery of PAF personnel and martyrs. He said that 7 September reminds the nation of the sacrifices and heroism of the air warriors.

The Prime Minister noted that PAF martyrs wrote a glorious chapter of history by laying down their lives, while the founding vision of Pakistan ensured the Air Force grew into a strong and frontline institution.

PM Shehbaz Sharif praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force, saying its skills are recognised worldwide.

Referring to the 1965 war, he said the PAF defended the country with remarkable courage and gave the enemy a fitting response. Pakistan Air Force stands strong, defending sovereignty with courage and pride.

He added that throughout history, the Air Force has proven its strength with modern capabilities and professional excellence, showing that determination and courage can never be defeated.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that, as always, the PAF will continue to stand firm in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and integrity.
