Pakistani-origin Canadian comedian and content creator Zaid Ali strongly criticized YouTuber and TikToker Rajab Butt during a TikTok live session.
Rejecting the number of followers and subscribers as a measure of success, Zaid Ali said that what truly matters is the respect a person receives in society, which is more important than numbers.
During the live session, while responding to a user’s comment, Zaid Ali spoke about Rajab Butt and said that even a donkey works hard to make a name for itself, whereas Rajab Butt has not worked hard for anything.
Referring to the number of followers and subscribers, Zaid Ali acknowledged that Rajab Butt has more subscribers than him and congratulated him on that. However, he said that social media numbers have their own place, but respect is far more important.
According to Zaid Ali, Rajab Butt has always tried to achieve the highest possible numbers by taking shortcuts or by any means, and he has succeeded in achieving that goal. However, he said that despite this success, Rajab Butt has not earned the kind of respect among the public that is necessary for true success.
During the conversation, Zaid Ali also rejected Rajab Butt’s alleged claim that he is a “vlogger.” He clarified that his primary work is making comedy videos and that he has no interest in vlogging that shows his daily-life routine.
He said that his followers have always stood firmly by him, whereas, according to him, Rajab Butt does not have this kind of moral support.
It is worth mentioning that Zaid Ali, who is based in Canada, is known for his comedic videos based on South Asian culture.
