Irfan Siddiqui laid to rest

Islamabad: Irfan Siddiqui, a close aide to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, and a senator for the PML-N passed away on Monday after protracted illness.

He was 75 years old.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui was admitted to ICU over health complications.

Earlier family sources had told that Senator Irfan Siddiqui has been under medical care for several days after developing severe breathing issues.

But he was not placed on ventilator, as per family sources.
