PSL heads to New York for second international roadshow

News Desk: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is going to take its another global push preparing to showcase commercial muscle as on international appeal of the HBL Pakistan will hold its second international roadshow in New York city on December 13 this weekend.   

After a successful roadshow at Lords Cricket Ground in England on Sunday December 7 the PCB will host its next international Roadshow in New York City as well.

The event will begin at 4 pm local time, event is aimed bringing together investors, Pakistani Community and cricket enthusiasts.

The event at New York showcase will play a key role of the PCB’s wide strategy to connect with international stakeholders ahead of the auction of two PSL HBL franchises, set for January 6, 2026

The PCB aims to underline the league’s expanding fan base, commercial stability and long term growth trajectory through this global engagement.

Pakistan men’s national teal six member are expected to join this event.

Pakistan Stars who will attend this event are included T20 captain Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Shan Masood and Saud Shakeel.

Earlier in the at Lord’s cricket ground in London, The Pakistan Super League (PSL) roadshow brought cricket fans together. However, a light-hearted remark from legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram stole the spotlight.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Wasim Akram and former captain Ramiz Raja chaired the event.

While discussing how T20 leagues operate around the world, Wasim Akram praised the PSL for being fast, short and easy to follow.

About the Indian Premier League (IPL) he made a humorous comment, he said “The best thing about PSL is that it lasts for 34 days or a bit more next year. It’s not three months long like another league. Bachay bade ho jatay hain, who league khatam hi nhi hoti.”
