Sahiwal, NA-143 — The first complete unofficial result has been announced. PML-N’s Chaudhry Tufail Jutt has won with a big lead.
He received 136,313 votes. His rival, independent candidate Zarar Akbar Chaudhry, got 13,120 votes. The margin is very clear. Tufail Jutt stayed ahead throughout the counting.
Polling in the constituency was peaceful. The counting process also continued smoothly. The result is seen as a major win for PML-N in Sahiwal.
These results are unofficial. The Election Commission will release the official results later.
