In a statement, Naqvi urged citizens not to take the law into their own hands. He emphasised that protests should remain peaceful and be officially recorded to ensure safety and order. “We are with you in this moment of grief,” he said, addressing both Pakistanis and Iranians.
The announcement comes as Pakistanis express solidarity with their neighbors, reflecting the shared cultural and religious bonds across the region. Naqvi’s appeal highlighted the importance of maintaining social stability while honoring the memory of the late Iranian leader.
