The plan to disturb peace and spread unrest in Azad Kashmir by a banned Joint Action Committee has been exposed when an audio leak between two JAAC’s members surfaced.

In the leaked audio, a member of the banned Joint Action Committee, Sajid Azam, is heard saying:“I have 500 riflemen with me who are fully trained and ready for battle.”
In the audio leak, alleged members of the banned Joint Action Committee are also heard expressing intentions of advancing towards Rawalakot.

Besides, the speaker also claims that after reaching Rawalakot, they will secure the release of detained associates. The audio further records discussions about mobilizing groups and sending them to specific locations.

In the recording, the alleged leader Sajid Azam is also heard saying harshly that “people keep dying.”“He says leaders have humiliated us,” according to the leaked conversation of Sajid Azam, an alleged member of the banned organization.

According to experts:

The audio leak has exposed the false claims of the banned Joint Action Committee regarding being peaceful.

Experts say the claim of 500 armed individuals may be exaggerated, which reflects the false narrative of these elements.

Such statements reflect a radical and disruptive mindset, experts add.

Experts further state that the leadership of the banned Joint Action Committee never intended to follow a democratic path.

Their purpose was only to spread unrest so that distrust among the people of Kashmir could be created, which could strengthen India’s narrative.

Experts recommend that strict action should be taken against such groups and that the banned leaders of the movement should be given exemplary punishment.
