Punjab announces new jobs in HEC: here’s how to apply

WEBDESK: The Punjab government has announced new job openings in the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC).

Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat shared the details on X, inviting people to apply and become part of the department. He said the last date to submit applications is 25 September 2025. A link for applications has also been provided for candidates.

According to the announcement, applicants must be between 40 and 65 years of age. The monthly salary ranges from Rs50,000 to Rs350,000, depending on the post.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit their online applications by 25 September 2025.

A signed hard copy of the form, along with a CV, CNIC copy, educational and professional certificates, and recent photographs must reach the given address by 26 September 2025, 5 pm, via registered courier or post.

Applications will only be processed after the correct bank draft, pay order, or deposit slip is received.

  • Fee for Director General and Director posts: Rs2,000
  • Fee for Deputy Director post: Rs1,500
  • Fee for Personal Staff Officer, Assistant Director, Accountant, Network Assistant, and Research Assistant: Rs1,000

The payment should be made in the Bank of Punjab, Account No. 6580045615700054, Branch Code 0320.

Each post requires a separate application, with the post name clearly written on the envelope.

Applicants already in service must apply through the proper channel (departmental NOC). A Punjab domicile is mandatory.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview.
