Ishaq Dar and Turkish FM agree to deepen Pakistan–Türkiye ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday spoke by phone with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss Pakistan-Türkiye bilateral relations and key regional and international issues.

During the call, both leaders exchanged views on recent developments, particularly the situation in Palestine and Gaza. They stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity and people-to-people exchanges, and reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace, stability and development.

Earlier, Ishaq Dar also held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. The two leaders reviewed ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in various sectors and discussed the evolving regional situation.

The Foreign Office said both sides also shared views on important regional developments.
