“This is how they earn money from these dramas”: Hina Parvez Butt criticizes Rajab Butt’s mother

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and Punjab Assembly member Hina Parvez Butt has now also taken aim at social media influencer and family vlogger Rajab Butt’s mother.

Rajab Butt is among Pakistan’s most-followed YouTubers, with around 9 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.9 million followers on Instagram.

Hina Parvez Butt reshared a short video clip from the YouTuber’s vlog on X, which has gone viral on social media.

The clip shows Rajab Butt’s mother pretending to faint during a prank. After the prank ends, she gets up laughing and clarifies that the scene had been planned in advance.

Reacting to the video, Hina Parvez Butt said, “This is how they make money from these dramas. Even eight-year-old children are being negatively influenced by watching them. This family has never played a positive role in society.”

Her remarks drew an immediate response from social media users. Some supported Hina Parvez Butt’s stance.

One user wrote, “Just block them and ignore them—that’s enough.” Another said, “Please ban them,” while a third remarked, “Unfortunately, people continue to watch them.”

This is not the first time Hina Parvez Butt has criticized the YouTuber and his family.

Earlier, she had also strongly criticized the social media influencer, saying that his followers were contributing to the decline of children’s values and upbringing.
