Gold prices have come down by Rs12,800 today (Monday) after a sharp decline was recorded in Gold and silver prices in both international and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $128 per ounce to $4,156.
Following the global decline, gold prices also dropped in Pakistan. The price of one tola of gold fell by Rs12,800 to Rs438,136, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs10,973 to Rs375,631, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Silver prices also moved lower. The price of one tola of silver dropped by Rs325 to Rs6,578, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs279 to Rs5,639.
On Saturday, gold price per tola reached Rs450,936 after a decline of Rs2,100 during the day.
The fall in local prices came as international precious metal prices declined sharply.
