ISLAMABAD: Funeral prayers of PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui has been offered here after Asr prayers on Tuesday.
The funeral was attended by a large segment of the society and politicians including Tariq Fazl Chaudhry, Ahsan Iqbal and federal information minister Attaullah Tarar.
He was later laid to rest at H-11 graveyard.
PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui had passed away on Monday in Islamabad after a brief illness, his son confirmed.
In a statement, the senator’s family said that Siddiqui had been receiving treatment at a local hospital in Islamabad for the past few days due to respiratory distress.
