price reduction for Oshan X7

Web Desk: Changan Pakistan has announced a price reduction for Oshan X7 SUV variants, offering customers additional savings through a combined package that includes lower prices and two years of periodic maintenance on selected models, according to company terms.

The move comes as automakers compete for a larger share of Pakistan’s growing SUV market, where buyers are increasingly seeking vehicles that combine advanced features, performance and affordability.

The Oshan X7 has emerged as one of Pakistan’s most popular midsize crossover SUVs since its introduction, attracting customers with its combination of premium styling, spacious interiors and modern technology.

Manufactured by Changan Automobile, the SUV is positioned as a family-oriented vehicle designed for consumers looking for a balance between comfort, power and practicality.

The model is available in two main variants Oshan X7 Comfort and Oshan X7 FutureSense with five-seat and seven-seat configurations available depending on the trim.

The Oshan X7 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged BlueCore engine that produces 185 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed DCT Tiptronic transmission, delivering smoother gear changes and improved driving response.

Both variants feature front-wheel drive and offer multiple driving modes, including Eco, Comfort and Sport, allowing drivers to adjust performance according to road conditions.

The SUV also includes advanced features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, a 360-degree high-definition camera system and a Human Machine Interface (HMI) touchscreen system.

The Oshan X7 has been designed to compete in Pakistan’s competitive midsize SUV segment with a bold exterior appearance and premium interior layout.

The vehicle features a large front grille, LED lighting, sharp body lines, roof rails, chrome accents and 19-inch alloy wheels. Its dimensions provide a strong road presence, while the spacious cabin is designed to accommodate families.

Inside, the SUV offers leatherette upholstery, a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment display across variants. The FutureSense model adds features such as heated and ventilated front seats, electric driver seat adjustment, wireless charging and intelligent voice controls.

The seven-seat configuration provides additional flexibility for larger families, while foldable rear seats increase cargo space when required.

Changan has equipped the Oshan X7 with a range of safety technologies aimed at improving passenger protection.

Standard safety equipment includes multiple airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control and hill hold assistance.

The FutureSense variant adds advanced driver assistance systems, including forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist.

The Oshan X7 uses a Euro 6-compliant turbocharged engine designed to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions.

According to manufacturer claims, the SUV can deliver fuel efficiency of around 10 to 14 kilometres per litre under suitable driving conditions, making it competitive among larger seven-seat SUVs.

The vehicle’s fuel-saving technology and lower emissions appeal to buyers looking for more environmentally conscious options.

For 2026, Changan has continued the Oshan X7 lineup without major interior or exterior changes.

The previous facelift introduced improvements including wider availability of the seven-seat layout, updated alloy wheel designs and subtle styling changes to the dynamic mesh grille.

The facelift also introduced a revised instrument cluster with drive mode options, including Eco, Comfort and Sport settings.

The latest price adjustment is expected to strengthen the Oshan X7’s position in Pakistan’s SUV market, where it competes with models including the Proton X70, MG HS, Haval Jolion, Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage.

The SUV is marketed as offering a strong combination of features, performance and value compared with several rivals in the segment.

According to recent market updates, the Oshan X7 is priced in Pakistan between approximately Rs7.949 million and Rs9.049 million, depending on variant, model year and available features.

Changan recommends regular maintenance practices to ensure consistent performance, including timely engine oil changes, turbocharger inspections, air filter replacement and transmission fluid checks.

The company advises owners to use authorised service centres and diagnostic equipment to maintain the SUV’s electronic systems, safety features and infotainment technology.

With its revised pricing and added maintenance benefits, Changan aims to make the Oshan X7 more attractive to Pakistani consumers looking for a feature-rich midsize SUV with premium equipment and family-friendly practicality.
