Social media platforms associated with the banned Awami Action Committee are sharing AI-generated or digitally altered images in an attempt to create the impression that law enforcement agencies are using violence against civilians.
According to sources, several images posted on the Facebook page of the Overseas Joint Awami Action Committee have drawn questions from social media users and independent observers. The images were presented as depicting recent events, but concerns have been raised regarding their authenticity and original source.
Same Individuals Seen in Different Situations
One widely circulated image showed several people lying on the ground with claims that they had been shot. However, other photos and videos that later surfaced appear to show the same individuals standing, walking, and leaving with police officers, prompting questions about the accuracy of the initial claims.
Sources say these conflicting visuals have further fueled doubts about the authenticity of the content being circulated on social media.

Another image, showing a man holding a firearm, has also come under scrutiny. Some users have suggested it may have been created or altered using artificial intelligence or digital editing. According to observers, the structure of the hands, the positioning of the fingers, and the grip on the weapon display unusual inconsistencies commonly associated with AI-generated images.
