Web desk: Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Mastung district, Balochistan, after receiving reports about the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the statement released by the ISPR, troops engaged the hideout and, following a fierce exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed.
A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also seized during the action.
The terrorists had been involved in several attacks in the region. Security officials confirmed that a sanitisation operation is still underway to clear the area of any remaining threats.
Pakistan’s forces reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country and vowed to bring all those responsible for such acts to justice.
Fitna al Khawarij terrorists target Bannu FC headquarters, five Khawarij killed: ISPR
Before this, terrorists linked to the Indian proxy Fitna al Khawarij attacked the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Bannu early on 2 September 2025.
According to ISPR, the attackers tried to breach the compound by ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the perimeter wall. The blast damaged the wall and nearby civilian property, injuring three people.
Security forces responded swiftly, killing all five assailants in the exchange of fire. Six soldiers of the Federal Constabulary and Pakistan Army were martyred in the attack.
The statement added that Pakistan’s forces remain determined to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism, with the sacrifices of soldiers and civilians strengthening the nation’s resolve.
