KP’s health, education sectors in collapse: Faisal Karim Kundi

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has criticized the provincial government that health and education sectors in the province are collapsed and patients are suffering in the hospital with no one to look after them, leaving patients without proper care.

Speaking to the media, he said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister himself has acknowledged that former provincial ministers were involved in large scale corruption, including embezzlement of funds allocated for the health sector. He said that mismanagement is on peek in the province that has directly contributed to the collapse of essential services across hospitals.

Mr. Kundi lamented that while KP government claims that health emergency has been imposed but on ground things are completely different. He said that in hospitals patients are not receiving treatment under the Sehat Card and people are helplessly wandering place to place in search of medical care. He said that widespread administrative failures have deepened the crisis.

The Governor did draw a comparison, said that Sindh’s hospitals are offering far better facilities, while KP’s government has admitted that essential medical equipment is missing from province hospitals. He said that both education and health systems in the province have become paralyzed due to persistent corruption and neglect.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government popularity among the masses is declining with every passing days earlier about the provincial government It is observed that declining participation in PTI’s stronghold of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a significant indicator of internal dissatisfaction because once known for mobilizing massive crowds, the party now faces the challenge of rebuilding trust, reconnecting with its base, and addressing the growing sentiment that it has lost political momentum and clarity.

The locals said that workers have realized their leadership lacks seriousness people and understand now that the leadership is confused and directionless and that’s why the supporters are staying home.
