“Pakistan is defeating India’s cross-border terrorism,” says PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, responding to a question posed by an Indian journalist at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), said that Pakistan is defeating India’s cross-border terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave a swift response to a question from the Indian media, saying, “We are defeating cross-border terrorism carried out by India.” He made the remarks on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session while answering a question.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif later addressed the United Nations General Assembly, warning that violations of international law were on the rise, global conflicts were intensifying, and humanitarian crises were worsening.

In his speech, the prime minister accused India of using the Pahalgam incident as a pretext to attack Pakistan. He said Pakistan gave a strong response to the enemy along the eastern border.

Highlighting Pakistan’s stance on world affairs, Shehbaz Sharif said the country’s foreign policy is based on mutual respect and cooperation.

The session also witnessed chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” during his address, which he began with verses from the Holy Quran.
