This is the last chance for women beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to obtain a Benazir SIM.
In a statement issued by the BISP spokesperson, all women beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme who have not yet obtained a Benazir SIM have been advised to visit their nearest BISP office as soon as possible, bringing their original CNIC and mobile phone with them, to obtain the SIM.
The statement said that if beneficiary women fail to obtain the Benazir SIM, they will not be able to receive their stipend payments.
Meanwhile, BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid said in a statement that beneficiary women who have not yet obtained their free Benazir SIM should make sure to collect the free SIM from their nearest BISP office before September 30, 2026.
How to Activate the SIM?
In her message, Senator Rubina Khalid said that the Benazir SIM will be activated at the BISP office by a representative of the relevant mobile company.
She clearly instructed the women to ask BISP staff to insert the SIM into their mobile phone themselves when receiving it.
