The schedule for the ICC ODI World Cup 2027 will be announced on Thursday, with the ICC and Cricket South Africa set to unveil the World Cup schedule in Cape Town.

The one-year countdown to the ICC World Cup will begin on October 1, while the tournament will be played from October 2 to November 21, 2027.

According to a cricket website, 10 of the 14 teams that will participate in the World Cup will be confirmed by September 30.

The ICC will also launch a ballot for World Cup tickets, with fans able to register for the ticket ballot from October 1.

England’s Jos Buttler Ruled Out of Pakistan Tour, Coach Confirms

England wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the tour of Pakistan.

According to British media reports, the hard-hitting batter will miss the tri-nation series due to a hamstring injury.

England head coach Brendon McCullum said Jos Buttler will not be with the team on the Pakistan tour. He added that it is difficult to say at this stage when Buttler will be fit.

Jos Buttler suffered the injury while batting in the second ODI against Sri Lanka.

It may be recalled that the tri-nation series involving England, Sri Lanka and Pakistan will begin on October 18.
