Lahore: The release of popular YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai, from Camp Jail has been delayed, his lawyer said on Wednesday. The legal team explained that the release could not be executed because court hours had ended before the necessary release order, or roobkaar, could be issued.

Lawyer Expects Release Soon

Ducky Bhai’s lawyer said the roobkaar is expected to be issued by Thursday, after which his client’s release will be possible. The announcement comes a day after the Lahore High Court granted him bail.

High Court Grants Bail

The Lahore High Court bench, presided over by Justice Shahram Sarwar, approved Ducky Bhai’s bail request and directed the submission of a surety bond worth PKR 1 million. His lawyer, Imran Raza Chadhar, argued that the charges in the FIR were baseless.

Previous Legal Developments

The lawyer also highlighted that the YouTuber’s wife has filed a case against FIA officials for allegedly demanding a bribe. Furthermore, co-accused in Ducky Bhai’s case have already been granted bail, strengthening his legal position.

The delay in the release of Ducky Bhai has sparked concern among fans, who have been closely following the case, but authorities expect the release to be finalized shortly.
