Zoya Nasir responds to Mohsin Abbas Haider

“I have seen people offering prayers on set, not intoxicated,” says actress

Pakistani actress Zoya Nasir has responded to actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider’s recent claims regarding artists arriving on set under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Zoya Nasir, daughter of renowned writer Nasir Adeeb, recently spoke in an interview about her career, fitness, and various aspects of the showbiz industry.

In a recent appearance on a talk show, Mohsin Abbas Haider had alleged that he had witnessed multiple actors and actresses coming to shoot under the influence of drugs or alcohol, adding that in one case an artist was so intoxicated that he could not even maintain proper facial expressions. He further stated that he had informed producers, after which the matter was investigated.

However, Zoya Nasir disagreed with his claims, saying it may be his personal experience but she has never witnessed such behavior in her own career.

She added that in her experience, she has never seen anyone arriving on set intoxicated. Instead, she has often seen people offering prayers during shoots. She said that if any actor arrives late, it is usually due to long shooting schedules from the previous day rather than any other issue.

The actress further stated that she has always found a positive working environment across her projects and has never seen any co-actor working under the influence of drugs.
