Islamabad: Senior analyst and journalist Hassan Ayub has dismissed market rumors suggesting the government has been given only six months to perform or that a so-called “wonder boy” is influencing state affairs, calling such claims unfounded and misleading.
Speaking about the prevailing political and economic narrative, Ayub said speculation circulating in markets has no basis in reality and should be treated as rumor rather than fact.
Ayub said talk of a six-month deadline for the government reflects market chatter rather than verified information. He added that claims about an alleged “wonder boy” shaping decisions are equally baseless.
According to him, these narratives do not align with ground realities and are creating unnecessary uncertainty.
At the same time, Ayub stressed that the government and the military are fully aligned and operating with a shared understanding. He said relations between civilian and military leadership remain strong and stable.
As a result, he added, this coordination is directly benefiting the country at a time when consistency and clarity are critical.
Ayub also pointed to what he described as an effective partnership between the prime minister and the field marshal. He said the team formed by the country’s top civilian and military leadership stands as clear evidence of Pakistan’s progress and growing confidence on the global stage.
Looking ahead, he said there is no reason to expect a change in this relationship.
Concluding his remarks, Ayub said the current situation does not warrant anxiety or speculation. He urged observers and market participants to avoid fueling uncertainty, saying the outlook remains stable.
“All is well,” he said, adding that relations between the government and the military are expected to remain the same in the days ahead.
