Web Desk: Fresh speculation has emerged over the personal life of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, with analyst Salman Durrani making a series of claims about a possible relationship between the politician and a woman reportedly linked to a European royal family.
Durrani’s remarks have reignited interest in Bilawal’s marriage plans after a recent video appeared to show him with a woman whose identity has not been officially disclosed.
According to Durrani, the woman being discussed online is not Princess Gloria, a name previously associated with Bilawal in social media speculation, but another woman from the same European royal lineage.
Durrani said Bilawal had previously rejected reports linking him to a woman identified as Princess Gloria, saying he did not know anyone by that name. The analyst suggested that the denial could be accurate because the woman currently being discussed is allegedly a different member of the same aristocratic family.
He claimed the woman belongs to the Habsburg family, one of Europe’s historically prominent royal dynasties, and is involved in social activities.
Durrani said the alleged connection dates back several years to a meeting between Bilawal and the woman at an international organisation’s event in the United States.
He further claimed that the woman seen in the recent video had also appeared in an older photograph and was said to have attended a wedding ceremony at Bilawal House as a special guest.
However, the identities of the individuals in the photographs and the nature of their relationship have not been independently established.
Durrani also linked the speculation to Bilawal’s visit to Dubai during the political developments surrounding Pakistan’s 2024 general election.
He questioned whether the trip was solely connected to political differences within the family or whether it coincided with developments in Bilawal’s personal life.
The analyst claimed that a private engagement ceremony involving Bilawal took place in Dubai during that period. No independent evidence confirming such an engagement has been publicly presented.
Durrani also referred to an alleged meeting between the Zardari and Habsburg families during a visit to Austria by former president Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal.
He claimed that a gathering was held at Vienna’s Hotel Imperial, where people close to both families were present.
The claims have circulated amid renewed public interest in Bilawal’s personal life, but no official details have been released regarding the alleged meeting or any relationship between the families.
Speculation has also surfaced that Bilawal could marry in November or December this year.
In the absence of an official announcement, however, the timing and details of any possible marriage remain unclear. Neither the Bhutto-Zardari family nor the PPP has publicly confirmed an engagement, prospective bride or wedding date.
Bilawal, 37, has previously faced recurring public speculation about his marriage, but claims about his private life have often circulated without independent confirmation.
The latest allegations made by Durrani remain unverified, and the recent video alone does not establish the identity of the woman or the nature of her relationship with Bilawal.
