Web Desk: Pakistan’s Meteorological Department on Monday forecast mostly dry and warm weather across the country, while predicting rain in several northern and western regions.
According to the advisory, Islamabad is expected to remain dry and hot during the day, although light rain may occur in the evening.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rainfall is likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Shangla and Buner. Officials also forecast isolated showers in Kohistan, Malakand, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohat, Kurram, Khyber and Hangu. Rain is also expected in Peshawar, Balakot, Haripur, Mardan and Nowshera, while light showers may affect Bajaur, Swabi and Charsadda.
In Punjab, most districts are expected to remain hot and dry. However, rain is likely at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Attock, Talagang, Murree and the Galiyat region. Light rainfall is also expected in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur and Bahawalnagar.
In Sindh, hot and dry conditions are forecast for most areas.
In Balochistan, dry and hot weather is expected in most districts, although rain may occur in Quetta, Ziarat, Zhob and Musakhel. Isolated showers are also likely in Barkhan, Dera Bugti and Khuzdar.
