A rumor circulating on social media also forced senior actor Usman Pirzada and actress Humaira Bano to issue a clarification.
After news of Humaira Bano’s marriage emerged, some social media pages and YouTube channels began claiming that she had married Usman Pirzada and that Usman had divorced his wife, Samina Pirzada, because Humaira had not revealed her husband’s face.
As the rumor spread rapidly, Usman Pirzada clearly rejected the claim while appearing on a morning show. He said that he does not know much about social media, but he knows that he has had the same wife for the past 45 years, and he prays that she remains his life partner for the next 50 years as well.
The actor said he does not understand why people create such false news merely to make money and gain clicks. He said he also did not know what the purpose was behind linking his name with Humaira Bano.
According to Usman Pirzada, the rumor did not cause any harm to him or Humaira Bano, but fans were certainly worried and he received numerous phone calls regarding the matter. He said that rumors of this nature about him have been spread thousands of times before, so he does not give such things much importance.
He further said that he had also spoken to Humaira Bano and her real husband about the matter, and the three of them simply joked and laughed after hearing the rumor.
On the other hand, Humaira Bano also described the claims circulating on social media as baseless during a video call with Uzma Tahir. She clarified that she had married someone else and that her husband has no connection with showbiz or the media. According to her, he is neither an artist nor a director.
Later, a picture of Humaira Bano’s husband also emerged, making the reality of the speculation circulating on social media about her marriage to Usman Pirzada clear.
