Bollywood actress Tanishaa Mukerji has strongly criticised women who have relationships with married men.

In a post on the social media platform X, Tanishaa Mukerji wrote, “Women who have relationships with married men are actually against women! Because being with someone’s husband is disrespecting his wife.”

She further wrote that such men are equally at fault and that their character is also not right. She said that women who run after married men are simply malicious and should not be role models for our children.

Following Tanishaa’s post, the comments section erupted, with numerous users sharing their opinions.

One user wrote that, from another perspective, unmarried women have not taken a vow of loyalty, whereas married men have. “Start your complaint with those married men who have affairs.

Another user said, “So, according to this logic, what would you call the late actress Sridevi, one of Bollywood’s most famous and fan-favourite actresses?”

Another user stated that the Indian film industry is full of such people, both men and women. “So what would you say about Hema Malini, Rekha, Amitabh and countless other stars? These people had money, so their financial situation was not an issue either. The film industry should refrain from making such comments.”

Other comments read, “Absolutely right, both are equally responsible,” and, “Madam, you are absolutely right.”

As far as her work is concerned, Tanishaa Mukerji was last seen in Rajiv S. Ruia’s 2024 mythological animated drama film ‘Love You Shankar.’
