Web Desk: The Sindh government has announced public holidays across the province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, according to an official notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.

Under the revised schedule, May 26, 27 and 28, 2026, from Tuesday to Thursday, will be observed as public holidays for all provincial government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils operating under the Sindh government.

However, the order does not apply to essential services or departments involved in preparations for the provincial budget for fiscal year 2026-27.

Meanwhile, the government also directed that May 29, 2026, Friday, will be observed as a work-from-home day for relevant offices.

In addition, the notification stated that the directive had been issued by the Chief Secretary Sindh and circulated to all concerned departments for immediate implementation.

The announcement comes as authorities continue preparations for Eid-ul-Azha celebrations across the province, while civic agencies in Karachi and other cities remain engaged in public service and administrative arrangements ahead of the holiday period.
