The body of a 25-year-old female TikToker, Arshma, was found at her flat in Lahore’s Islam Pura area.
According to police, Arshma was found hanging inside her flat. She worked as a beautician and lived alone.
SP City Arshad Hayat Kanju said the body had been shifted to a hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating the incident from all angles, including the possibility of suicide, he added.
The SP said further legal action would be taken in light of the post-mortem report.
It merits mentioning that several female TikTokers have been killed in the name of honour this year.
TikToker Shamso Bibi, also known as Ayesha Gula Mena, was killed by her father and brother in the name of honour last month in Taxila.
The victim’s father said that Ayesha was allegedly killed by her friends Kashif, Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen.
However later the police found that The victim was allegedly killed by her father and brother in the name of honour.

The SSP Operations said the TikToker’s cousins were also involved in her murder.
The TikToker was shot dead on August 14. A murder, attempted murder and abetment case was registered at Taxila Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s father.
