PM Shehbaz Sharif has said that the people of Balochistan are true patriots and that their ancestors have played a key role in the creation of Pakistan.
He made these remarks while addressing participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan in Islamabad. He said that the sacrifices made by security forces and the people of Balochistan will not go in vain.
The prime minister also said that India is sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan and that Afghan soil is being used for terror activities. He said that 90 thousand Pakistanis have been martyred so far in war against terror.
Besides, he said that the menace of terrorism had been vanished in 2018 but unfortunately it returned again under planned conspiracy. He said that Afghan Taliban were warned so many times, but they could not take any meaningful steps.
He assured the participants that mega developmental projects in Balochistan are underway with funds released for roads, education and irrigation, destined to bring peace, development and prosperity in the province.
The PM further said that Pakistan is on the way of development and progress and that the enemy could not digest this success. He said that we are equipping the youth with skills and laptops not guns. According to the PM Pakistan is on the way of progress and that no one could divert it from its chosen path.
In the end the PM reiterated that the progress of Pakistan lies in good governance and that we will transfer it to the provinces.
