The Government of Punjab, under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz, has launched a new welfare program called the “Parwaaz Card” aimed at providing youth with easy and safe access to overseas employment opportunities.

According to officials, the Parwaaz Card will provide financial assistance to young people seeking jobs abroad. The loan will be interest-free, covering expenses such as visa, air tickets, medical tests, and other related costs.

The government says this initiative will help youth secure employment through legal and organized channels.

One of the key objectives of the program is to prepare young individuals for jobs abroad. It will also include skill development and language training, including English, Arabic, and other languages, to meet international standards.

Eligibility for the Parwaaz Card is limited to residents of Punjab, generally between the ages of 18 to 45 years.

Applicants must have at least a middle or matric-level education, although higher-qualified individuals may also apply in certain cases. Additionally, applicants should belong to low- or middle-income groups.

The program is designed for both individuals who already have overseas job offers and those still seeking employment. Women are also being given equal opportunities under the scheme. In the initial phase, the government aims to benefit around 100,000 people.

According to the government, financial support will cover visa, passport, ticket, medical, and other expenses. Some reports suggest the loan amount could be up to 3 million rupees.

Furthermore, various training courses will be offered, including electrician work, welding, driving, IT, and hospitality.

The application process is completely online. Applicants will need to visit the official website, create an account using their CNIC and mobile number, fill out the form, and upload the required documents. An online tracking facility will also be available after submission.
