KAUST fully funded internship 2026 for Pakistani students

Web desk: Saudi Arabia has introduced a fully funded internship for Pakistani students that provides a monthly stipend of one thousand US dollars along with several valuable benefits. King Abdullah University of Science and Technology has opened applications for its Visiting Student Research Program 2026. The program welcomes undergraduate and master’s students from Pakistan and other countries.

Successful applicants receive one thousand dollars per month. The university also provides round trip airfare, free on campus housing, health insurance, visa support, and access to advanced laboratories. The internship lasts between three and six months.

Participants conduct research under the guidance of internationally recognized faculty members. The program covers fields such as computer science, engineering, energy studies, environmental science, and biological sciences. Students experience modern research practices and work in a high quality academic environment.

Undergraduate students in their third year or above and master’s students may apply if they hold a minimum GPA of 3.5. Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency, but they do not need IELTS or TOEFL. The program does not accept PhD candidates or current and former KAUST students.

Applicants submit their forms through the official online portal. They must upload an updated CV, academic transcript, recommendation letter, personal statement, and a valid passport copy. The university accepts applications throughout the year and informs shortlisted candidates within a few weeks.

This internship offers Pakistani students strong academic exposure and solid financial support. The benefits and reputation of the university will likely attract many applicants.
