Web Desk: Roads across the area remain open, while motorway and metro services are also operating normally, according to an administrative update issued to counter circulating rumours about closures.
Authorities said reports claiming that roads and public transport services had been shut down are false and should not be shared without verification.
The administration also clarified that no local holiday has been announced so far.
If any school decides to close independently, the decision would be made at the institution’s discretion rather than under an official government notification. Parents and students have therefore been advised to contact their respective schools for confirmation.
Meanwhile, authorities said any change in the current situation would be communicated through official channels.
Residents have been urged to rely on verified announcements and avoid spreading unconfirmed messages about road closures, transport disruptions or a local holiday.
