Independence Day Weather: Rain Showers in Islamabad

WEBDESK: Light to moderate rain has been reported in several areas of the capital, Islamabad, on Independence Day, bringing some relief from the humid weather.

It has been raining in various parts of the city since this morning. PMD has predicted that there will be more scattered rain in Islamabad and there are chances that very strong rain may occur.

Cloudy skies and a drop in temperature have created pleasant weather for residents.

The rain in Islamabad is part of the ongoing monsoon spell affecting many regions of the country.

Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and nearby hilly areas may also see isolated heavy rainfall.

Most of Punjab will experience hot and very humid conditions. However, isolated rain, wind, or thundershowers are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal and Sheikhupura. Additionally, in Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha, Khushab, D.G. Khan, Multan, and Bahawalpur.
