The son of legendary Pakistani film actor Sultan Rahi, actor Haider Sultan, has strongly reacted to recent remarks made by veteran actor Firdous Jamal about his father.
Recently, during a television program, Firdous Jamal criticized Sultan Rahi’s acting, saying that he did not possess acting talent and instead relied on a loud voice and high energy in his performances.Following these remarks, Haider Sultan released a video on his TikTok account in which he sharply criticized both Firdous Jamal and the program’s producer.

Haider Sultan said, “Unnecessary comments were made about my father. Firdous Jamal, you are a senior and a television actor, but who are you to speak about my father in this manner?”He added that Sultan Rahi was a great actor and an outstanding human being whose contributions are recognized around the world. He said that Firdous Jamal’s criticism would not diminish his father’s greatness or artistic legacy.
Haider Sultan also personally criticized Firdous Jamal, saying, “What has happened to people in old age? Have you lost your sense? Sultan Rahi kept the Pakistani film industry alive through his hard work and helped it reach its peak.”He also criticized the program’s producer, saying that such remarks should not have been aired, especially about someone who had treated the producer like his own son.
