Chief Minister Punjab has formally inaugurated Skills development portal to equip the youth with modern trends and needs.
The CM in her address stated that state is like a mother and is should treat its subjects as her kids. She said,“I wish could I spend each penny of Punjab treasury to educate and empower the youth of Punjab”. She reiterated that empowering the youth is our priority.
She stated further that steps are being taken to make the youth educated and skilled as is difficult to provide jobs due to increasing population. Uneducated youth should not lag, said the CM. She encouraged the youth that they should not consider themselves a liability. State needs to make the youth it’s weapon by providing them necessary education.
She further stressed that those who love to read would be supported in their studies and the ones who lag behind in formal education would be provided with basic skills.
The CM expressed great concern over Pakistanis’ hard and stressful jobs in The Gulf region. She opined that they were given such jobs due to lack of education and basic skills.
The CM motivated the transgenders to acquire education and skills in order to get a respectable position in society .They should not spread their hands to beg for their needs.
