RAWALPINDI: Two women arrested after throwing egg at Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan during media talk.

The incident occurred outside Adiala Jail, when a video went viral showing an egg being hurled at Aleema Khan during her media talk outside Adiala Jail.

During a press briefing after meeting Imran Khan, two unknown women suddenly threw an egg at her.

Reacting to the incident, PTI workers quickly surrounded Aleema Khan to protect her from any further attacks. Several workers rushed towards the women in retaliation. However, police officers intervened promptly, detaining both women involved and taking them into custody.

Earlier today, Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, dodged tough questions from journalists Adiala Jail on Friday (today).

During a media address outside the Adiala Jail, the situation escalated when reporter Taib Baloch asked Imran Khan’s regarding allegations made in a tweet by Ammar Solangi, saying that Aleema Khan had purchased personal property using charity funds.

However, She left the scene without answering and boarded her vehicle and left.

Journalists present at the spot protested her departure, refusal to address the allegations. The reporters asked who was behind the social media trolling and threats targeting journalists. “Will you only answer questions that suit you?” the reporters asked.

Later, Aleema Khan addressed the media, stating that the public’s growing anger and shifting mood indicated a change in Pakistan’s direction.

“People are no longer willing to accept injustice,” she said, adding that even police officials had expressed exhaustion with the ongoing oppression.

She stated that the current system was becoming unbearable for the masses, saying that the nation was learning a lesson about rejecting unacceptable treatment.
