flight schedule to London

Web Desk: Pakistan International Airlines will expand its flight schedule to London from Oct. 27, increasing weekly services to seven from the four it currently operates, the national carrier said.

The expansion will restore daily connectivity between Pakistan and the British capital, giving passengers more options for travel between the two countries.

Under the revised schedule, PIA will operate five flights a week on the Islamabad-London route and two weekly services between Lahore and London.

The airline said the increase followed stronger passenger demand and reflected growing confidence in its services.

The additional flights are expected to provide greater flexibility for passengers travelling between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, particularly as the carrier expands its international operations.

Separately, PIA has invited international bids for a freight handling, clearing and forwarding agent for its operations in France.

According to tender documents, the airline is looking for a company to manage air and sea consignments at its Paris station under a three-year arrangement.

Interested companies must submit their bids to PIA’s Supply Chain Department by Sept. 30.

PIA officials said appointing a new handling partner in Paris would help simplify the airline’s cargo procedures and improve the efficiency of its freight operations.

The move comes as the national carrier works to strengthen its passenger and cargo services across key international destinations.
