Senior journalist Zahid Gishkori has revealed that PTI founder Imran Khan owns two properties worth Rs 160 million in the controversial One Constitution Avenue Towers in Islamabad.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Zahid Gishkori claimed that during his tenure as Prime Minister, Imran Khan declared a luxury flat in 2021 and a commercial shop in 2022 among his assets.

According to documents, the PTI founder declared the value of the commercial shop in One Constitution Avenue Towers at Rs 125.8 million, while the flat was shown as worth Rs 11.9 million in 2021.

It is further claimed that the same flat’s value was later declared at over Rs 30 million after one year.

According to senior journalist Zahid Gishkori, Imran Khan’s assets increased by 120% between 2021 and 2022. In 2021, his total declared assets were Rs 141 million, which increased to Rs 328 million in 2022.

On the other hand, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said that both properties purchased in One Constitution Avenue are properly declared with tax authorities.

He stated that if the assets have been declared, then there is nothing illegal about them.
