Web Desk: Millions’ worth, 375 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine seized from a vehicle traveling on the M-8 highway in Balochistan, officials said, marking one of the latest major drug busts in the country’s ongoing crackdown on narcotics trafficking.

The operation took place at 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 26 after personnel from 132 Wing received intelligence from a field source, officials said. Acting on the tip-off, security forces stopped a suspicious Mazda truck, bearing registration number TKN-101, en route from Panjgur to Turbat.

Upon conducting a detailed search of the vehicle, authorities recovered 375 kg of methamphetamine, commonly known as “ICE.” Officials estimated the value of the seized drugs at approximately 187.5 million Pakistani rupees ($670,000).
