Sri Lanka and England

Web Desk: Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England in a packed international cricket calendar from October to November, with the three teams set to feature in T20, ODI and Test matches across Rawalpindi, Lahore and Islamabad.

The international schedule will run from Oct. 9 to Nov. 21, giving Pakistan a busy home season across all three formats.

Sri Lanka will begin its tour of Pakistan on Oct. 4, with the two sides scheduled to play three Twenty20 Internationals in Rawalpindi.

The matches will take place on Oct. 9, 11 and 13, respectively, giving both teams an early opportunity to fine-tune their squads ahead of the longer-format contests later in the tour.

After the T20 series, England will travel to Pakistan to take part in a three-team ODI tri-series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England.

The tournament will run from Oct. 18 to 31, with matches scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The tri-series will add another competitive phase to Pakistan’s home season, as the three sides prepare for a demanding run of international cricket.

Sri Lanka will return to action in early November for a three-day match in Islamabad from Nov. 4 to 6.

The fixture will serve as part of the build-up to the two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which will count toward the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.

The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi from Nov. 9 to 13, before the teams move to Lahore for the second match.

The second Test is scheduled at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from Nov. 17 to 21.

Consequently, Pakistan’s home season will span nearly seven weeks and cover all three major international formats, with the World Test Championship fixtures providing a significant longer-term contest between the two sides.

The schedule will give Pakistan an extended run of home cricket while Sri Lanka and England face a demanding series of matches across different formats and venues.
