Senator Faisal Vawda on Friday warned that those involved in the May 9 cases could face serious legal action, including disqualification, a ban, and the conclusion of all cases linked to the incident.
Speaking to the private media channel, he said the state has sent a clear message to enemies inside and outside the country, leaving no room for confusion. He added that PTI will be made an example so future political parties will learn a lesson.
Vawda said anyone acting against the state will no longer find space in Pakistan. After the state’s firm response, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has withdrawn the May 9 cases. He remarked, “Now they will have no front and no right side left.”
He also said that Sohail Afridi appears to be heading toward political self-destruction. According to him, once governor’s rule is imposed, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will see strong development.
Meanwhile, Ikhtiyar Wali Khan said PTI has turned into an “Indian proxy,” claiming the party is operating outside Pakistan’s Constitution, laws, and parliamentary system.
