Officials said the targeted group was affiliated with the Taliban and had been attempting to strengthen its presence in the area.
The action is part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign and the broader Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, which focuses on eliminating militant hideouts, restricting movement, and dismantling logistical support networks in border regions.
